Can you return goods you do not like?

Can you return goods you do not like? This is a question consumers often ask when they hear about the section in the Consumer Protection Act that says you can return goods and get your money back.
However, it is not that simple. The fact that you do not like something anymore after buying it, does not mean you can return it for a full refund.
We look at what the Ombud for Consumer Goods and Services said recently when it determined that a small business owner could not return a machine that was too complicated to operate and exchange it for another, unrelated machine.
