SAPG News - We're launched, baby!

Welcome the SAPG Guild News show. I'm your host, Jon Warncke, MD of the SAPG.
This is the first kind-of-shaky episode of a (maybe) weekly update for the Guild, designed to keep members in touch with what we're doing.
We've got a lot of big plans and we want to keep everyone on-board and engaged.
This week's awesome podcasting tip comes from Darren Franks, who runs a show called "Talking Success".
It's mentioned in the show, but Darren's clever tip is to encourage guest who would like to raise their profile to contribute to the show's media budget (boosting on YouTube, in this case).
He's having some great success with it, and he's kindly provided us with his template letter. Check it out below:

Hi xxxx,
First things first, a huge thank you for sharing your insights on "Talking Success." Your episode has been a hit, and we've been riding a wave of fantastic feedback from our listeners. It's clear that your insights have truly resonated.
Now, onto something exciting. We're looking at ways to supercharge the reach of our episodes, and your story deserves to be heard by even more people in the FinTech world.
Here's the scoop: We're offering the chance to sponsor your episode. This isn't just about numbers; it's about connecting your insights with a broader audience who are eager to hear from you.
This isn’t a big investment at all – we’re talking small numbers I promise 😊
R500: Around 300-500 extra views
R1,000: Roughly 1k - 1.2k extra views
R1,500: About 2k - 2.5k extra views
R3,000: Somewhere between 3k-4k views
R5,000: A whopping 8-10k views
We can't promise exact figures, but we're all about transparency. You'll get regular updates on how your episode is performing.
Here's a little success story: We trialled this with one episode last month (Dawie Roodt), and with just a R500 budget, we reached over 1,400 people!
Just so you know, "Talking Success" runs on a tight budget. Our main goal is sharing valuable stories and insights. Any help in getting these stories to more listeners is super appreciated and helps us keep the lights on.
If the firm may be interested in giving your episode a boost and reaching more of the FinTech crowd, please do let me know. We're all about making this easy, fun, and impactful for you.
Thanks again xxx,
Cheers,
