A problem money can't fix: Half of the pupils at this Curro school failed matric

Curro's Cooper College, in Northriding Johannesburg, obtained a 50% matric pass rate in the 2023 results.

Curro is an independent school network that owns over 180 schools in South Africa and is considered to be one of the most expensive private schools in the country. Eleven of Cooper College's 23 pupils who sat for the Cambridge International AS-level exams failed, and only three achieved a bachelor's degree pass.
