Women's Conference Arise - Make Room 2025 - Testimony Segment

Welcome to this special recap of the testimony segment from the Make Room Women's Conference 2025. This was a profound moment where vulnerability broke the backs of comparison, and women from all walks of life stepped forward to share their stories.
The segment opened with a powerful reminder: each woman is unique by God's design, created with distinct fingerprints, callings, and destinies. The message was clear—comparison steals transformation. Instead of looking at each other, we're called to look up.

The Heart of the Testimonies
Fourteen incredible women took the stage, each beginning with "I love and follow Jesus," sharing their roles, and declaring "I made room for the Holy Spirit." Then came the breakthrough moment: "You are not alone if like me..."

Stories of Resilience and Redemption
These women represented extraordinary diversity. We heard from Charlene, who married at 35 and continues trusting God for children while recovering from burnout. Carlett, a professional photographer and radio station owner, overcame being orphaned and severe rejection. Elsabe shared her journey as a recovered addict, delivered from bipolar disorder, divorced and restarting life as a single mom.
Thembi's testified to God's faithfulness through workplace rejection and widowhood. Another brave woman opened up about surviving a broken home filled with abuse, self-harm, and eating disorders. Celista, who is visually impaired, spoke about trusting God for healing while serving faithfully in ministry.

Miraculous Testimonies
Coby's story brought the house down—married at 38, she endured five miscarriages and fertility treatments, but God gave her a healthy baby boy last year without any medical intervention. Charmaine shared perhaps the most dramatic testimony: after 43 years of marriage, divorce, emotional abuse, psychiatric treatment, and three suicide attempts, she died for 43 minutes in 2018. Jesus visited her and said, "You are not supposed to be here. Go back and do my work."

Themes of Hope
Other testimonies included widowhood and blended families, single motherhood spanning 14 years, abuse in multiple relationships, and divorce at 33. Yet every story ended not in defeat, but in expectation—women walking in wholeness, serving from healed places, and anticipating God's promises.

The Closing Challenge
The segment concluded with a beautiful truth: we're all different—some taller, younger, cuter, braver, funnier—but we're all alike in this: if we make room for Jesus, we win. Women turned to each other with the declaration: "If you make room, you win."

This wasn't just a testimony time; it was a moment of holy vulnerability that reminded every woman in the room that their story qualifies them, their struggles don't disqualify them, and most importantly—they are not alone.
