Many people in Cape Town know and are shocked by the fire that destroyed the historic Mostert’s Mill on a few weeks ago. The remains of the mill are now covered with plastic and rope netting to save it from rain damage. On People of Note this week, Rodney Trudgeon will be talking to the Chairman of the Friends of Mostert’s Mill, JOHN HAMMER, about the extent of the damage, the history of this 300 year old windmill and the exciting plans to completely re-build it to its original glory.
