It’s been just over two or three weeks since the new Mayors have been elected and although some are excited about the new change, others have been worried about the delay in electing MMCs especially in Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni. Well, the wait is officially over, with both Mayors announcing their MAYCOs. We will be in conversation with Dr Tim Maake, a local governance expert, as well as TK Pooe, a political analyst who is attached to the Wits School of Governance to discuss the new committees.
