MUT Radio is embarking on a historic project. The History of Umlazi is being Retrospected. Umlazi has a long history dating back to the time of Shaka Zulu.Awethu Kewlese talks to Mr Mfeka, who a is a legend in the soccer world. He is also one of the oldest citizens in Umlazi. His father was the Mayor of Umlazi Township before the new dispensation. Mr Mfena was the Principal of Mgaga High school. He had also received the Presidential Sports award under President Thabo Mbeki’s years.
