Taelo Mojapelo is CEO of bp Southern Africa (bpSA). She took over the reins in June 2020, during very challenging and unprecedented times. She has demonstrated strong leadership in responding to the COVID-19 crisis, supporting the teams, and ensuring safe and reliable operations as well as business continuity.

Taelo is an experienced business leader with a proven track record of successfully devising and delivering business strategies. She has 20 years professional experience in Africa and a wealth of commercial and operational experience in Supply Chain, Leadership, Strategy and Operational Excellence. She joined bp from Mondelez International where she held the position of Supply Chain Director. Prior to this, Taelo held several operational and senior leadership supply chain roles at South African Breweries, Kellogg’s and DHL.
