Shaun Bartlett is a legendary South African footballer. He played in the English Premier League with Charlton Athletic and played 74 internationals for South Africa. He’s still the second all-time leading goal scorer for Bafana Bafana. He played for a number of South African teams at the beginning and end of his illustrious career, including Cape Town Spurs and Kaizer Chiefs. He played for Colorado Rapids and Metro Stars in the USA, for FC Zurich in Switzerland, and enjoyed a long career in Charlton, winning the prestigious Goal of the Year in 2001 with a superb volley against Leicester City. He can also brag that Nelson Mandela gate-crashed his wedding.
