And should Boris wish to wander around incognito after being shown the door, he could hide his trademark hairstyle under a rented wig. If he finds he’s being shunned by once-fawning political cronies and acolytes, he could turn to a rent-a-friend website for some friendly company.
The concept of ‘renting’ has certainly taken off in recent years – whether due to cost, no-hassle expediency, respect for the environment, low frequency of usage, or as a lifestyle choice.
