SuperSport Schools has changed the game of school sports broadcasting and become a household name in the process. In 2022 alone, over 25 000 hours of live matches were streamed across more than 20 sports. With several fixtures also being broadcast on TV.

In this episode, brought to you by Spur, Alex talks to Gerhard Steyn, the CEO of SuperSport Schools, about how the company started and has progressed. Alex reflects on the impact the platform has had on school sport, including in many unexpected ways. They then discuss the future of the platform, especially in a context defined by extensive loadshedding.
