The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a seismic shift in the way people engage with financial service providers. As Discovery’s tech leader Derek Wilcocks highlights in this interview with BizNews founder Alec Hogg, even the tech laggards have had to upgrade their knowledge of the nuances of apps and internet systems to get things done while in isolation. People born before 1980 and classified as “older” have jumped into the digital world and are “wading” into web portals to figure out how to improve their finances.
