Tshwane and Ekurhuleni owe a combined R1.1bn, says Rand Water

Rand Water CEO Sipho Mosai says one of the biggest challenges it faces is not being paid on time by municipalities who are their main customers. Two of the biggest debtors are the cities of Tshwane and Ekurhuleni who together allegedly owe the entity more than R1.1bn. Tshwane owes R690m and Ekurhuleni R440m. Mosai was giving an update on Wednesday on bulk water provision in Rand Water's supply area amid ongoing water issues in some places.
