Hot Cares helps mother of down syndrome daughter

Christine Crossley is a senior caregiver and sponsorship co-ordinator at Meals on Wheels and is the driving force behind the social upliftment and assistance to the elderly who are living in government old age homes.

Recently Christine has faced personal life challenges. Her eldest daughter Shaunae who has down syndrome, was admitted into a government hospital and she is scheduled to go in for an operation to remove the blockage in her urethra. She is using a catheter and on adult nappies, she has also lost a significant amount of weight and is very fragile.

Christine does not earn a large salary and she desperately need bandages, adult nappies and even plasters for Shaunae.

Christine also had to remove some of her front bottom teeth due to health reasons and now she is unable to get dentures.
