Khume Ramulifho has resigned from the DA to join Rise Mzansi. Ramulifho, who also served as a
member of the Gauteng legislature and was DA spokesperson for education in the province, said he
had resigned from the party and as an MPL effective from Thursday morning. He joined the DA 25
years ago as a university student. He speaks to Phemelo about why he made the decision to leave
the party after so many years.
