Most things in life are just temporary, but God and His words are eternal.
We need to remind ourselves that what we are facing will eventually end.
In the end all we have are the words of God that we can hold on to.
Find your security in His words and let the eternal be the anchor of your soul.

Lord, thank You for giving me something sure that I can hold onto even when I am surrounded by an ever-changing world. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You and on Your promises that will never fail or pass away.
