The Limpopo Department of Education says parents are still in the dark about the issue of unregistered private and independent schools. The department says anyone who runs an independent school should register with its office of the HOD. According to chief education specialist from the department, Marwala Rasethaba when speaking to Nghamula Chauke, parents who want to home-school their children are required to register with the department and submit the progress assessments of their children timeously.
