For Women’s Month, Capricorn FM wants to recognize women that are making a difference in their respective communities by planting a seed of kindness in any way they can to ensure that people around them are positively impacted. Moithumi Mashiane is celebrated for the charitable work that she does through her optometry practice and her involvement in the Rotary Club. Late last year she would close her optometry practice on Fridays to go into the school and conduct eye tests for schools in disadvantaged communities. Today, over 250 learners wear free glasses donated by her and other colleagues in her field, along with support from her local rotary club. She joins Mpho Mashita and Complexion as the Breakfast Champion as they present her with a surprise from Coca Cola Beverages South Africa.
