Kriya Gangiah on the first ever Barbie Diwali Doll

Barbie’s first-ever Diwali doll was launched in South Africa on Wednesday, in collaboration with top Indian fashion designer Anita Dongre, and just in time the celebration of the Festival of Lights.

The beautiful doll was inspired by Dongre’s iconic designs, and is part of an initiative by Barbie South Africa to highlight diversity and cultural representation.

Media personality and entrepreneur Kriya Gangiah, was part of the launch in Pretoria this week, so Carol simply had to get her on the line!
