The Pretoria local earned the UFC Middleweight title after a split-decision win against Sean Strickland at UFC 297 at the start of 2024. Now, almost a year later, Du Plessis and Strickland are set to face off again at UFC 312. The much-anticipated rematch is scheduled for February 8 (February 9 in South Africa) in Australia. To close out 2024, Breakfast with Martin Bester spoke to Du Plessis ahead of the rematch to learn how he is preparing for another heart-pounding fight.
