"Fake It Til You Make it" by now you've heard the saying many times-is not necessarily about being a fraud or a liar, but rather about convincing yourself to do things that you don't feel like doing, or might be nervous about doing. The phrase suggests that by acting something out, when you don't feel like doing something, or when you aren't feeling confident, you'll eventually make it through by pretending.
