The concept of self-care vs self-sacrifice is quite perplexing because it seems to require us to give up our very essence for the sake of others, while simultaneously putting ourselves first and setting boundaries. This makes it a complex and multidimensional construct that we struggle to define, but we will attempt to do just that throughout this week.
