Word for today | Psalm 127:1

Daily Thought

Psalm 127:1
‘Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.’

We desperately need God in our lives.
He makes all the difference and He makes everything worthwhile.
With Him, all we do has meaning and purpose.
Without Him, all we do is human effort and does not guarantee anything.

Let's Pray...
Lord, I realise that I need You in my life. I don’t want to do things in my own strength and initiative. I don’t want to waste my time on futile things, but I want to be part of what You are building and watching over.

Amen.
