Among the animals was a leopard, bear, gorilla, baboon, and a monkey. Animals don't really see their own reflection much, which is why this was a shock to them. The leopard saw itself as a threat, and the monkey saw itself as a friend. While human beings are not animals, we also have our own unique perspectives when we look in the mirror.
