Cape Town Big 6 - One Thibault Residence

--:--
The Western Cape has seen a significant rise in tourism in recent months, with Cape Town being a particularly popular destination among travelers. Renowned for its picturesque scenery and natural charm, tourists are flocking to the city to experience its inviting views and attractions, which highlight Cape Town's status as a top travel destination.

As a result of this recent travel spike, there has been a corresponding demand for long-term accommodation that suits the lifestyle of leisure travellers visiting Cape Town. The latest solution to cater to the needs of these modern travellers is One Thibault Residence — Cape Town’s latest aparthotel, offering 270 suites with beautifully appointed studio and one-bedroom apartments to rent for short or long-term stays. As the highest residential building in the city centre, guests can ‘live in the sky’ with the 28th floor being the highest floor available to rent.

Charlene van Zyl, General Manager of One Thibault for ITC Hospitality Group, positively concurs, "The demand for extended-stay accommodation in Cape Town is high. During One Thibault's first summer season as an aparthotel, the building achieved occupancy levels between 98 – 100%".

The rise of the aparthotel
"Travellers are increasingly turning to longer-stay travel with flexible stay options, such as that offered by aparthotels. They want flexibility, along with the convenience of a hotel setting, surrounded by bars and restaurants if needed, or a fully-equipped kitchen if preferred.

“Cape Town's semigration surge is further fuelling the demand for aparthotels as professionals commute to the Mother City from other provinces for work and look for homes and schools to establish their families long-term in the Western Cape. Aparthotels are also ideal for the "bleisure" traveller — the business traveller who works first and then stays on to relax and enjoy a holiday – no hard ask in a city as beautiful as Cape Town," says Sean Cleary-Le Grange and Kobie Le Grange, owners and founders of ITC Hospitality Group.
