ActionSA Bids Farewell to Nobuhle Mthembu, Stands by Its Values

ActionSA has officially acknowledged the resignation of Nobuhle Mthembu, noting her departure without fanfare, and a clear shift toward another political home. The party wished her well but subtly questioned the timing of her "sudden" values misalignment, which surfaced only after her removal as Speaker of Johannesburg. In a pointed statement, ActionSA said Mthembu had expected the party to protect her position by supporting Mayor Dada Morero’s administration, something the party refused to do at the cost of public trust. Instead, they say, they chose to stand with the people of Johannesburg. On the same day Mthembu resigned, the party says over 2,000 new members signed up a sign, it says, of continued momentum. No love lost just politics moving forward. Govan Whittles standing in for Phemelo speaks ActionSA Leader, Herman Mashaba.
