Young South African women have reportedly been recruited to work in Russia.
They were promised jobs in hospitality and construction but ended up assembling military drones. The targeted location is the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan. The South African government has launched an investigation into potential exploitation. The Ministry of Women has issued warnings to young women about the risks involved.
