Harry is a Chartered Accountant and has over twenty years of experience within the Financial Services sector. He was recently appointed as Chief Executive of FNB and has a long spanning career with FirstRand Limited, the largest listed Financial Services group in Africa by market capitalisation. Prior to this role, Harry was the Financial Director and Chief Finance Officer of FirstRand Limited from January 2014 until March 2024 when he was appointed as Chief Executive of FNB and its Retail and Commercial segment which represents 65% of FirstRand’s profits.

Prior to joining FirstRand, he worked at HSBC South Africa where he held the position of associate director in corporate finance. He is passionate about innovation and the need for continual, incremental changes
