Joburg Mayor Dada Morero faced tough questions in Parliament after failing to deliver on his seven-day promise to restore water in communities like Westbury and Coronationville. MP Malebo Kobe didn't mince her words, warning that Johannesburg is “fast approaching Day Zero” and slamming the mayor for offering false hope. Morero has since backtracked, saying the promise was symbolic – a gesture to show leadership.
