Born Minenhle Kwanele Sibiya on 29 September 2002 in the sugarcane
township of KwaMashu, Durban, Starr Healer has emerged as one of South
Africa’s most promising Afro-Pop vocalists. Discovering her love for music at
the age of 10, she has since developed a versatile sound that blends Afro-
Pop, Amapiano, and Afro Soul. Starr describes her music as “Healer’s
Sensation,” reflecting her belief that she is a naturally born healer through
her art.
Despite her young age, Starr Healer has already made waves in the industry,
collaborating with celebrated South African artists such as Lady Amar, Azana,
Prince Kaybee, Donald, Murumba Pitch, and Nomfundo Moh. Her music is
known for its soulful melodies and uplifting energy, connecting deeply with
listeners.
