Kenny Kunene on Rea Vaya suspension and Johannesburg’s transport underspending

Recent revelations by Gauteng Finance MEC Lebogang Maile highlighted that municipalities spent an average of just 21% of the Public Transport Network Grant in the first half of the 2025/26 financial year, with none exceeding 40%.
