The focus of this tragic love story is on the "too little too late" theme through a man who finds himself on the verge of divorcing his wife because he feels they have reached a stage of irreconcilable differences.
Set in the luxurious world of young African professionals, the movie was filmed in Harare's finest locations to world class standards. The idea was to present the story's universally relevant look at marriage in a highly stylized Zimbabwean environment. The producers found it fitting to make Benignity a globally competitive production in anticipation of reaching viewers around the world.
