Budget 2026: Key Takeaways from Godongwana’s Speech

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana says government’s plan to rein in spending and boost revenue is working. The budget deficit is narrowing, debt-service costs are easing, and borrowing will drop to R380-billion in 2026 - down from R563-billion last year.
