In this new series we will look at how we can make environmentally conscious decisions in our homes. We'll look at conserving energy and controlling the climate in our homes, and we'll even throw the spotlight into our closets to see how to look fashionable AND not have a negative impact on the environment. But before we start down the runway, we're going to look at something much more important to life. About two weeks ago the City of Cape Town started requesting residents to reduce their consumption of water. Otto van der Walt spoke to the Mayoral Committee Member for Water and Sanitation, Zahied Bedroodien, to hear what the status is at the moment, and to find out what the city is recommending to residents.
