For over twenty years, he has been one of Switzerland's busiest and most versatile voices on the trombone. Whether he is performing in the brass-percussion fire of Le Rex, the avant-garde precision of the Vertigo Trombone Quartet, or the celebrated South African-Swiss collective Skyjack, his music has always been about the play with the unexpected. But today, we are talking about a moment of profound solo clarity.

After two decades of collective creation, he has released What If We Align Our Breath. a record that bridges continents, featuring the ancient resonance of South African kudu horns alongside flutes made by his grandfather forty years ago. It is a project born between Zurich and Johannesburg, mixed with the help of Shane Cooper, and grounded in the ethos of Ubuntu.
