Ntsiki Biyela is a trailblazing South African #winemaker and businesswoman, renowned as the country's first African female winemaker.
Ntsiki received a scholarship to study Wviticulture and oenology at #StellenboschUniversity. After graduating in 2003, she joined #Stellekaya Wines, where she worked for 13 years, eventually as head winemaker. In 2009, she was named South Africa's Woman Winemaker of the Year.
In 2016, she launched her own brand, #Aslina Wines, named in honour of her beloved grandmother. Biyela is an international figure, exporting her premium wines globally, and a dedicated mentor who serves on the board of the Pinotage Youth Development Academy to help disadvantaged youth enter the industry.
