Dr Tshepo Lechaba

Is a Deputy Director for Research and Niche Areas Support at the
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). He holds a PhD in Medical
Physiology and is an experienced researcher and innovation leader with a
passion for advancing pharmaceutical and biotechnology research in
South Africa.
His research focuses on cannabis and hemp, nutraceuticals, medicinal
plants and mushroom cultivation, while his work also champions research
collaboration, postgraduate development and Indigenous Knowledge
Systems.
