30 Years of Changing Lives in Alexandra Through Education

Exactly Thirty years ago, a small Joburg non-profit started with just 5 children from Alexandra and a simple idea that where a child is born shouldn't determine how far they can go.

Today, the Alexandra Education Committee supports hundreds of youngsters — without receiving a cent in government funding.

And this weekend, more than 400 beneficiaries are coming together to celebrate three decades of lives changed through education.
