Today is World Suicide Prevention Day — and SADAG says one of the biggest obstacles to preventing suicide may be our discomfort talking about it.

For generations, suicide has been surrounded by silence, shame and stigma — leaving many of us unsure WHAT to say when we're worried about someone we love.

But mental health experts say we don't need the perfect words — and simply starting a conversation could help save a life.
