Dr Ronwyn van Eeden is a specialist physician and medical oncologist in Rosebank, Johannesburg. She has a special interest in lung cancer, breast cancer, immuno-oncology, and precision medicine. For lung cancer, she currently serves as associate editor on the editorial board for the Journal of Thoracic Oncology. Furthermore, she is part of the Africa steering committee for lung cancer for the International Association of Studies for Lung Cancer and previous co-chair for the first Pan Africa Congress for Lung Cancer. She also steers multi-disciplinary care meetings for patients with lung cancer and will present on awareness and advocacy for patients with lung cancer in Africa at the World Conference for Lung Cancer.
