Is Our Art Truly Namibian? | Theatre Talk with the National Theatre of Namibia

What makes art truly Namibian? In this episode, we explore how theatre reflects our everyday lives, humour, identity and freedom of expression. We’re joined by Desiree Mentor, PR Officer at the National Theatre of Namibia (NTN), to discuss Theatre Talk, a free conversation featuring the cast and crew of the sketch comedy Yah, Neh?, guest facilitated by comedian Axarob. We unpack why telling Namibian stories matters, the challenges of creating relatable local art, and what audiences can expect from this important conversation.
