GEPF Funeral Benefits

GEPF provides a funeral benefit for the funeral of an active member or a pensioner, as well as for the funeral of a spouse or eligible child of a member or pensioner. The funeral benefit payable upon death of such a member or pensioner is R15 000, spouse R15 000 and eligible child R6 000. Many beneficiaries haven't claimed their Benefits and GEPF raises awareness on these.
