South Africans can expect to see an increase in potato prices due to the possible reduced supply of this beloved vegetable. The possible reduction in supply is a result of provisional tariffs being reinstated against the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. An investigation found that the three countries dumped frozen French fries in South African markets. OFM News’ Elsabé Richard-May speaks to Thabile Nkujana from the National Agricultural Marketing Council, about what prices are expected to look like.
