The Paarl Royals will be targeting a sixth-straight win in the SA20 when they face the Durban Super Giants in Paarl.
This game will be the log-leaders last home game before the playoffs, and it will also be the penultimate game in which they have the services of the world’s leading Test batter, Joe Root.
Root has been a major factor in the Royals success thus far, and his absence will be felt.
The Royals coach, Trevor Penney, said it will however create opportunities for other players.
