Dean Burmester - 2025 PGA Championship and Quail Hollow

Former Bloemfontein professional Dean Burmester is locked and loaded ahead of this week’s PGA Championship, which takes place at the renowned Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina.
Burmester is one of six South Africans in the field for the year’s second major. He’ll be joined by compatriots Daniel van Tonder, Erik van Rooyen, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Thriston Lawrence, and Garrick Higgo, all hoping to make their mark on one of golf’s biggest stages.
The 35-year-old, who impressed with a tie for 11th at the 2024 Open Championship, believes Quail Hollow plays to his strengths.
