Currie Wegner - Currie Cup return is the goal

--:--
The seasoned Toyota Cheetahs lock, Carl Wegner, is aiming to make his return to the field during the 2025 Currie Cup which kicks off next month.
The veteran second-rower has been out of action since seriously injuring his hamstring during the 106-7 drubbing of the Border Bulldogs in the SA Cup at the end of April.
His injury did test the depth in the second-row department at the Cheetahs, and his return will be welcome.
Wegner, who started his rehab on Monday, told OFM Sport that it’s important not to rush it.
