The Proteas Women have won their first One-Day International series in just shy of 18 months after beating the West Indies in Barbados on Wednesday.
South Africa beat the Windies by 166 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method at the Three W's Oval clinch a 2-1 series victory.
Reflecting on the series win the captain Laura Wolvaardt said it’s one thing doing well in ICC events, but they need to become more consistent in their bilateral series’ outside of World Cups as well.
