The Proteas are in a commanding position at stumps on day two of the 2nd Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo.
Yesterday, Proteas captain Wiaan Mulder scored a record-breaking 367* to lead South Africa to 526/5 before declaring at lunch.
Mulder is now the South African record holder for the most individual runs in a Test innings — and the fifth-highest score in Test history.
South Africa then bowled Zimbabwe out for 170 to enforce the follow-on.
While the day belonged to Mulder, Prenelan Subrayen also impressed on debut with figures of 4/42.
Zimbabwe will resume their second innings at the Queens Sports Club this morning on 51/1, still trailing by 405 runs.
