Rubin Hermann - Falling short of a fifty on debut

Loading player...
The North West Dragons batter Rubin Hermann was more than happy with his Proteas debut in Harare yesterday, even though he fell just short of a milestone with the bat.
South Africa beat Zimbabwe by five wickets in the opening match of the T20 International Tri-Series at the Harare Sports Club.
Chasing 142 for victory, Hermann top-scored for South Africa with 45 runs off 37 balls, while Dewald Brevis added a quickfire 41 off 17.
Hermann said that losing his wicket when he did was more disappointing than missing out on a maiden half-century.
