After tragically losing her son Dylan to cancer at just 22 years old, Joy decided to honour his dream of becoming a DJ. At the age of 60, she went to DJ school, learned to mix house music, and now plays on stages across the country... even opening the main stage of one of South Africa’s biggest dance festivals.

Her journey is about more than music. It’s about love, resilience and keeping a dream alive through courage and rhythm.
